Salmon fillet is the perfect dish for a crowd: easy to share and incredibly simple to prepare. Low-temperature cooking on the MONTVEL barbecue enhances the delicate flavor and incredible tenderness of the salmon. For best results, use beech wood pellets.

Generously salt your salmon fillet three hours before cooking and place it in the fridge. This helps prevent the albumin from oozing out during cooking.

Turn on the MONTVEL barbecue in Cooking Mode and set the temperature to 120°C.

Pat the salt off your salmon with paper towels and place it on the barbecue grates. Insert the temperature probe into the thickest part of the fillet and set the target temperature to 50°C.

Once the internal temperature is reached, remove the salmon fillet, scoop portions with a spoon, and serve immediately.
